How to Integrate Shiprocket to your Store

Shiprocket is one of India's top eCommerce shipping aggregators, and is known for low shipping rates and wide reach. You can integrate Shiprocket to your aasaan store in a few minutes and migrate your order information to your shipping dashboard in just one click. The steps to integrating Shiprocket to your aasaan store are as follows:

STEP 1:

Enter your details.
- First and last names
- Company name
- Email address
- Password
Then click on Sign Up for Free.

STEP 3:
Enter your phone number and click on Send Verification Code.

STEP 4:
Enter the OTP sent to your number and click on Verify My Phone.

STEP 5:
You have now successfully created your Shiprocket Account. You will see this Welcome page. Click on Dashboard on the left hand side panel to reach your dashboard.

This is how your dashboard will look.
Now that you have successfully created your Shiprocket account, it's time to integrate it to your aasaan app.
STEP 1:
To integrate your Shiprocket account, first you have to add your pickup address and phone number. To do that, click on Settings.

STEP 2:
Click on Manage Pickup Addresses in the "Pickup Address" section.

STEP 3:
Click on Add Pickup Address.

Enter your pickup address(the same address you entered in your Aasaan app delivery settings) and verify your phone number. When you're done, click on Save Address.

STEP 4:
In the settings page, scroll down to API and click on Configure.

STEP 5:
Click on Create an API User.

STEP 6:
You now need to generate your API credential. Enter an email ID and a new password to generate the credentials.
Note: The email ID has to be different from the registered email ID.


STEP 7:
After entering your Email ID and password, click on Generate API Credential.

STEP 8:
You have successfully added an API user.

STEP 9:
Go to your installed Shiprocketapp in aasaan. Enter the credentials you used to create the API user in step 6. Then click on Verify.

You have successfully linked your aasaan store to Shiprocket.

Important notes:
- 1.If you receive an order, it will go to your Shiprocket dashboard once you change your order status to "Accepted".
- 2.In the beginning, please make sure your Shiprocket wallet has enough balance, otherwise the first few orders won't show up on the dashboard.
- 3.As always, remember to enable the shipping methods for all your products and add the product weight in the product details page.
- 4.If the customer is choosing Cash on Delivery as a payment method, he will have to pay a higher shipping charge(roughly 30-40 rupees more) than if he were paying online.
